Counseling Services
Coastal Counseling is located in Manteo, N.C. on Roanoke Island. We are a community based practice and believe in the ripple effect. Each person who gets support and makes positive changes will have an impact on those around them. We work with individuals to build stronger families. In turn, strong families help to strengthen our community. We are all in this together.
Insurance
Our office accepts self-pay and we participate with many insurance companies for individual counseling services.
We are in network with AETNA's NC State Teacher and NC State Employee Health Plan. According to the new plan, there is currently no co-pay for counseling, as we are CCP Participating Providers for Aetna.
We also participate with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Med Cost and NC Medicaid's Healthy Blue plan. We will submit these claims for you and can collect your co-pay (if applicable) at the time of service.
If you have other insurance, you are welcome to self-pay at the time of your session. We will provide a 'super bill' for you to submit to your insurance company, if you want to seek reimbursement. Please know counseling is a tax-deductible medical expense. If you have a question about insurance participation, please give us a call.
